This is the Union side of the battlefield. In the middle of the screen on the left side (in the background) is Little Round Top.
This is where the North Carolina regiment made it to the wall at Gettysburg. That big tree in the background is the little dot of a tree I pointed out from the confederate view. The North Carolina boys would boast "First at Manassas, Furthest at Gettysburg, Last at Appomattox".
Hard to tell from this view, but off in the distance along the tree line is the NC Memorial. This view is from the Union lines looking back toward the confederate position. This is the vantage point seen from Union men who viewed Pickett's Charge.
